I-CELTIC Mini-Symposium & Reception, June 19
A mini-symposium and reception to celebrate the launching of the Interdisciplinary Center for Leadership, Technology Integration, and Critical Literacies (I-CELTIC) is scheduled for June 19 at the FSU Research Foundation in Tallahassee. I-CELTIC is a joint effort of the FSU College of Information, College of Education, and Learning Systems Institute.
Guest speakers at the symposium are:
· Erin Reilly, research director for the New Media Literacies Project at MIT;
· Dr. Bob Kozma, researcher with SRI International; advisor to numerous countries on the use of information and communication technologies in education; and
· Dr. Ruth Small, director of a nationally ranked school media program; director of the Center for Digital Literacy at Syracuse University.
The symposium is from 2:00–5:00 p.m. and will include an hour for audience interaction with the guest speakers. A reception with light drinks will take place from 5:00–6:00 p.m. Ample free parking is available at the Research Foundation.
